Why the estimated fare on Skeddy sometimes differ from the one on Lyft?

Until January 2023, Lyft was using only an estimated price range for rides, e.g. $55-$60.

In January 2023, Lyft started using a new pricing type named "upfront pay" for some rides.

Unfortunately, when the Skeddy app is looking for rides on the Lyft server on your behalf, the upfront pay price value is always unavailable. Therefore, Skeddy is always showing you the estimated price range, which can be higher than the upfront pay price on Lyft.

If a certain ride is important for you, we recommend checking if the upfront pay price is available for this ride in the Lyft app before driving to the pickup location.
