We've figured out that the flat $9.99 monthly subscription has not been automatically dismissed in the app stores for some previously subscribed users, so the app store may mistakenly continue to charge your payment method you specified in the store.
If that happened to you, then please go to your respective app store, cancel the subscription manually and request a refund for the subscription charge made after Jan 2, 2020.
