The new Ride Credits booking scale will be effective starting from July the 5th:
1 Ride Credit for a ride over $10 to $20
2 Ride Credits for a ride over $20 to $30
3 Ride Credits for a ride over $30 to $40
4 Ride Credits for a ride over $40 to $50
5 Ride Credits for a ride over $50 to $100
6 Ride Credits for a ride over $100 to $150
7 Ride Credits for a ride over $150 to $200
8 Ride Credits for a ride over $200 to $250
9 Ride Credits for a ride over $250 to $300
10 Ride Credits for a ride over $300
The main purpose for adjusting the Ride Credits booking scale is to conform with the growing number of rides over $100.

I think this is absolutely a scam. You say the reason for the increase is because more rides for $100? BS! #1) what if I don’t set my settings for $100 rides? #2) if this is true, the increase the ride credits charged for those $100 rides! What a bunch of crap!

I also will not be paying for your services. It’s bad enough that my costs to operate have more than doubled without Skeddy now charging exorbitant fees! You guys are nuts
I will not pay 5 credits for a 60 dollar ride this is ridiculous and taking advantage of drivers who do the long drives..I will cancel as well..
That's too much. That's the second time you've raised the price since I started using the app a short time ago. If you wanted to penalize people that were doing $100+ rides, you could have just penalized them. This is just greed. Your app does no more work to find a $100 ride than it does to find a $10 ride. While I get the whole credits thing, don't lie and try to justify it - it can't be "justified" in a conventional sense. It can only be justified by saying you need or want more revenue. Period. It would have been much more palatable had you just said that. Making up some nonsensical justification just makes you dishonest. I'll use up my current credits (or get a refund if possible) and be done with it. BTW, never got a $100 ride from the app, not that you should really care.
BTW, the scale makes no sense. With the new scale, drivers of short trips are paying far more of a percentage than for longer trips. Up to $50, it's one credit per $10. Then the next one credit gets you $50? You're actually screwing drivers who take shorter rides.
So, with credits costing $1 each, you're looking at taking 10% of the GROSS pay of the driver for rides up to $50 now? You are nuts - and heartless. Great time for a money-grab - when gas prices are over $5/gallon. You don't have to feel the $5 gas prices, yet YOU think YOU are entitled to more of what we make? It would be laughable if it weren't so disturbing. While other people/companies are doing what they can to ease the burden on drivers, you seek to increase it. What horrible people you are.

I find it absolutely hilarious that you are doing this. Who the fuck made this decision? You do realize that not one driver “needs” Sketchy Skeddy right? I ask all drivers to not give Skeddy another dime of your hard earned money! Lyft and Uber have charged a MEASLY .55 cents surcharge to riders to cover gas increases. They have NOT increased their fees. Every driver has incurred a 60% increase in operating costs when gas hit $5 a gallon. Maintenance charges have also increased for vehicles. Brakes, tires, oil change, he’ll, even the cost for a vaccume or air has gone up 100%! Then you want to charge more credits per ride? Fuck off skeddy
I got an email from skeddy saying that starting on 7/5 they have bonused me 100 credits! Lol. Shove them up your arse! Give them to another driver. I will finish what rides I choose to finish, use any credits I have remaining and then forget skeddy EVER existed

Just rename the app “Greedy” and it’ll make more sense. I’m using the rest of my credits and then I’m GONE!

Your estimated ride payout is way more than what Lyft is actually paying. This allows you to charge more credits than needed. Absolutely ridiculous. Please fix it! People are sick and tired of your mess!
